Specific Implementation Rules for the Event

I. Participation Method
(1) Age Requirements: ① For the 11.5-kilometer event, participants must be aged 16 or older and under 60. ② There is no age limit for the 5-kilometer event.
(2) Registration:
Registration for the event will be conducted through a unified platform; the specific registration procedure will be announced shortly. Participants should select either the 5-kilometer or 11.5-kilometer race based on their own physical condition.
(3) Athlete Physical Condition Requirements:
Running is a high-intensity, long-distance competitive sport—and also a high-risk athletic endeavor. It places high demands on the physical condition of participants. Participants must be in good health and have a solid foundation of regular running exercise or training. Participants should select an appropriate event based on their own physical condition and capabilities, and confirm that they understand and agree to the terms outlined in the participation declaration.
All participants are advised to undergo a medical examination at a hospital at or above the county level. The examination items primarily include, but are not limited to, electrocardiogram, blood pressure, heart rate, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health, and cardiopulmonary and hepatic and renal function. Upon registration, all participants must agree to the requirements of the “Disclaimer.”
The following individuals with certain medical conditions should not participate in this event:
1. Congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease.
2. Hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases.
3. Myocarditis and other heart diseases.
4. Patients with coronary artery disease and those with severe arrhythmias.
5. Diabetes with either hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia.
6. Pregnant women.
7. Having had a cold within two weeks prior to the competition date.
8. Drinking heavily or getting insufficient sleep the night before the competition.
9. Suffering from an infectious disease that has not yet been cured.
10. Other conditions not suitable for exercise.
II. Activity Procedures
(1) Race Bibs: The race bibs for participants will be uniformly issued by the Organizing Committee. All participants must securely affix the large-sized race bib to the front of their chest. Any participant who fails to wear the race bib as required, or who folds or obscures it, may have their results canceled by the Organizing Committee. Participants who fail to wear the chip as required and thus prevent their times from being recorded at the timing points will also have their results canceled.
(2) Check-in: Check-in and bag storage will be conducted separately for each event. The unified time is from 7:30 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. on November 29. Once the check-in channels are closed, participants will no longer be allowed to enter the event area.
(3) Starting Procedure: Use individual starting guns, with runners starting from designated zones.
(4) Inductive Timing Chip Service: 1. This event will utilize an inductive timing system, and participants will wear timing chips. 2. At the start/finish line and at each timing mat along the race course, participants must pass over each ground-based timing mat one by one during their run. If a participant completes the race within the cut-off time but is missing results from any one of the timing points, their ranking will be invalidated, and their results will be canceled. Except at the start line, if the time difference between two chips worn by the same participant at any given timing point is less than 0.1 second, the results of those participants will also be canceled. The timing chips will be distributed together with the race bibs at the packet pick-up location. A single-use timing chip will be provided for this event; no deposit is required for the chip, and the chip will not be collected after the event.
(5) Closing Times: To ensure the safety and smooth operation of the event, closing times will be set for each segment of the course during the event, with traffic closures limited to specific timeframes. After the closing time for a particular segment has passed, normal traffic flow will resume on that segment. Within the designated closing time, participants who have not completed their assigned distance must immediately stop and leave the venue to avoid any potential hazards. Participants who withdraw may take the shuttle bus provided by the organizing committee to the finish line of their respective events. The closing time for the 5-kilometer segment is 60 minutes, and the closing time for the 11.5-kilometer segment is 90 minutes.
Circuit Breaker Mechanism: In the event of special circumstances, the organizing committee reserves the right to decide on an earlier closing time. Participants must comply with the organizing committee’s unified arrangements.
