From May 18 to 21, Zhao Long, Deputy Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Fujian Province, led a Fujian provincial delegation on a visit to Germany. The delegation thoroughly implemented Xi Jinping’s diplomatic thought, strengthened practical cooperation, deepened mutual exchanges and learning, and made greater contributions to the development of the China-Germany comprehensive strategic partnership. Wu Huaxin, Chairman of Yongrong Holding Group, accompanied the delegation.
01 Attend the “Invest in Fujian” Economic and Trade Exchange Conference
On May 19, the “Invest in Fujian” economic and trade exchange meeting and the “Fresh Fujian” cultural and tourism promotion event were grandly held in Frankfurt, Germany. Witnessed by Zhao Long, Deputy Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Governor of the province, Yongrong Holdings’ subsidiary Yongrong Shares signed a new round of strategic cooperation agreement with Barmag of Germany. The two sides will deepen their collaboration in the fields of high-end fiber equipment, intelligent manufacturing, and green, low-carbon technologies, jointly leading technological innovation and sustainable development in the global textile industry.
Since their first collaboration in 2003, the two parties have worked together for over two decades. Starting from the initial CN209 project, they have gone on to undertake ten major projects—including the fifth-phase expansion of Yongrong Shares, the second-phase projects of Jingfeng Technology, the Jin Yi high-performance materials project, and overseas ventures. Together, Yongrong has cumulatively installed more than 3,500 nylon spinning units, making it the largest global partner of Barmag in Germany for nylon equipment. In the post-spinning field, their cooperation has also yielded remarkable results: they have jointly completed six key projects and deployed over 80 high-performance texturing machines, achieving highly efficient synergy across the entire value chain—from filament spinning to texturing.
02 Visit the Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce for an exchange meeting
The Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce wields significant influence in Germany’s economic landscape and maintains close ties with numerous enterprises. At the symposium, Chairman Wu Huaxin, representing Fujian-based companies, delivered a speech. He expressed deep appreciation for the Fujian provincial government’s service ethos—“thinking what businesses think and addressing their urgent needs”—as well as its service philosophy of “responding promptly to every request yet avoiding unnecessary interference.” This approach has genuinely made businesses feel warmly supported and bolstered their confidence in future development. He noted that Fujian and German enterprises have vast potential for cooperation, and he looks forward to taking this symposium as an opportunity to engage in practical collaboration with more German companies in areas such as technological innovation and market expansion.
03 Attend a discussion and exchange meeting with KION Group
The delegation visited KION Group, a globally renowned supplier of forklifts and supply-chain solutions based in Germany, for an exchange and discussion. KION Group is a world leader in areas such as logistics equipment manufacturing and supply-chain management. The two sides exchanged views on topics including the development of the logistics industry and intelligent manufacturing. A representative from KION Group expressed strong confidence in the Chinese market, particularly noting Fujian’s advantages in manufacturing and port logistics, which provide ample room for cooperation between the two sides. The representative expressed hope to further strengthen collaboration with Fujian-based enterprises and jointly promote innovative development in the logistics industry.
Guo Jinpeng, Member of the Executive Board, Chief Technology Officer, and CEO of the Asia-Pacific Region at KION Group, presented Chairman Wu Huaxin with a golden forklift model. This uniquely crafted gift not only recognizes the success of our past collaboration but also embodies our shared eagerness to expand our cooperative horizons and deepen our mutually beneficial relationship in the future.
During the visit, the delegation held a roundtable discussion and dinner with Fujian-born compatriots in Germany at the United Federation of Fujian Hometown Associations in Germany. The compatriots enthusiastically shared their experiences of starting businesses and their daily lives in Germany, and expressed their keen interest in and strong support for the development of their hometown.
Yongrong Holding Group has now established and continues to deepen its business cooperation network with numerous European countries, including Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Sweden. This visit and exchange, featuring high-level strategic dialogues and in-depth market research, will further strengthen the Group’s resource connections and localized operational foundation in the European market, laying a solid groundwork for accelerating the advancement of its global strategic layout.
