On September 18, Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, led a team to conduct an on-site investigation in Changle District, Fuzhou City, to promote overseas Chinese affairs work. He also visited Yongrong Holding Group for an inspection. Guo Ningning, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, along with provincial leaders Wu Jielin and Lin Wenbin, joined the inspection. Wu Huaxin, Chairman of Yongrong Holding Group, accompanied the delegation.
Accompanied by Wu Huaxin, the research team visited Yongrong’s digital exhibition hall and automated production workshop, gaining a detailed understanding of the group’s development journey, industrial layout, and achievements in technological innovation. As an outstanding representative of overseas Chinese-funded enterprises, Yongrong Holding Group has, since its inception, consistently upheld its original aspiration of “serving the country through real industry.” Starting from warp knitting trade, the group has gradually grown into a large-scale industrial conglomerate centered on green energy, chemical engineering, and new materials, integrating supply chain services with intelligent manufacturing. In 2024, its annual output value exceeded 100 billion yuan, and it was ranked 256th on the 2025 China Top 500 Enterprises list.
Overseas Chinese investment and expertise are a vital driving force behind Fujian’s high-quality development. The successful practices of Yongrong Holding Group—in areas such as leading with overseas Chinese capital, promoting technological innovation, and expanding internationally—fully exemplify the fine traditions of Fujian-born overseas Chinese entrepreneurs: their courage to venture forth, their willingness to take risks, and their deep love for both their country and their hometown. These practices have set a shining example for overseas Chinese affairs work across the province.
Yongrong Holding Group will continue to deepen technological innovation, accelerate the green transition, expand international cooperation, and consistently leverage the advantages of overseas Chinese enterprises to serve national strategies. In particular, under the frameworks of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the group will play a pivotal role as a bridge and link, helping more Fujian-based enterprises “go global” and attracting more overseas Chinese compatriots back home to invest and start businesses, thereby contributing to Fujian’s economic and social development and its overseas Chinese affairs work.
