Jinyi Yarn – TTY/TDY Double-twisted Yarn
One end of the filament is held while the other end is twisted around its own axis. This process is called twisting. Twisted filaments are also referred to as doubled-twist filaments. Doubled-twist filaments are mainly divided into two categories: TTY and TDY. Specifically, TTY is produced by twisting DTY as the raw material, whereas TDY is produced by twisting FDY as the raw material.
Jinyi Yarn – Air-Enveloped Yarn
The nylon filament yarn, after false-twisting and drawing, is simultaneously passed through nozzles of a specific model along with drawn spandex. Under the regular pressure of highly compressed air, these filaments are jetted to form rhythmic network points, creating a textured yarn.
Jinyi Yarn – Air Textured Yarn (ATY)
The process is primarily achieved using an air-deformation nozzle. After being sprayed with water, the filament strands enter the nozzle and are blown apart and disordered by a high-pressure air stream inside the nozzle. Subsequently, they are accelerated within an accelerating wire-feeding tube. Before leaving the nozzle, the individual filaments remain essentially parallel. As they exit the nozzle, however, the filaments undergo a 90° turn, forming loops of varying sizes and curvatures. Due to overfeed, a certain length of free filament segments is created. As the filaments begin to intertwine, a network forms above the bending points, thus establishing the basic structure of air-deformed yarn.
